Privacy notice

This page explains what happens when you submit the founding cohort application form on refine.kitchen. The full version is short on purpose.

What we collect

From the application form: your name, email address, a link to where you publish your work, a rough recipe count, and your short answer to “why Refine”. That’s it. We don’t use cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics on this page.

Why we collect it

To evaluate your application and reply to you. We will use your email solely to follow up about your application unless you explicitly ask to be added to a future newsletter (we don’t have one yet).

Where it’s stored

In a Supabase Postgres database hosted in the United States. Access is restricted to the Refine founder via an authenticated admin policy. The form does not send your data to any third party other than Cloudflare Turnstile (used to verify you’re not a bot).

How long we keep it

We keep accepted-creator applications for the duration of our working relationship. We keep declined applications for up to twelve months in case you reapply, then delete them.

How to delete your data

Email hello@refine.kitchen with the subject line “Delete my application” and include the email address you submitted with. We’ll confirm the deletion within seven days.

Your rights

If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Email the same address above and we’ll handle it. We don’t sell or share data for advertising purposes.

Submitting a URL

When you share a link to your blog, channel, or social account, you’re telling us where to find your work. You’re not granting Refine any rights to copy, scrape, republish, or otherwise use that content. We’ll only review the URL to evaluate your application.

Changes

If we change this notice in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top and email everyone whose application we’re still holding.
